KBF Design Gallery placed at the very top of the list in four categories in Orlando Magazine’s 2022 Home Design Awards, as announced in their January issue. The design-to-build remodeling firm took first place in the Remodeling Company, General Contractor, Kitchen Design Showroom and Cabinet Showroom categories, and placed second place in the Granite, Marble and Quartz Showroom category.
Orlando Magazine is well-known for publishing their annual “Best of ORL” awards in many general categories. This is the second year the magazine has held the Home Design Awards competition, which recognizes the top home building, remodeling, and design industry professionals in forty categories. Last year, KBF received five awards as well, but this year marks a rise to first in the General Contractor category – one of the most prestigious and coveted award categories in the competition. “We’re so honored to have our team’s work recognized and we’re grateful to Orlando Magazine for shining the spotlight on all the talent in Central Florida’s design industry,” states Ashley Sheaffer, co-principal at KBF. Adam Vellequette, Ashley’s brother and co-principal, adds “We’re humbled by our clients and the people of Central Florida for holding our firm in such esteem.”
Adam notes that the firm’s team approach to designing and building is one of the key factors that separate KBF from their competition. “Our collaborative method allows our team members to utilize their unique talents to achieve astounding results. KBF Design Gallery has grown to be a leader in the design-to-build industry in Central Florida since it was founded by Ashley’s and Adam’s father, Keith Vellequette, in 2003. After years of steady growth at their original location in Altamonte Springs, KBF moved to an expansive showroom the heart of Maitland in early 2020. Even with the challenges that 2020 presented, KBF is busier than ever in their new showroom, allowing them to grow their team and their vast portfolio of work. “We are thrilled that we’ve been able to grow our business and therefore grow our team, and we are so excited for the future.
