Whole Home Transformation
This Winter Park residence was more than just a renovation—it was a deeply personal journey. Originally the homeowner’s childhood home, this project required not only thoughtful design expertise, but also a high level of care, sensitivity, and trust. The result is a stunning, fully reimagined home that honors its past while embracing a bright, modern future.
From the outset, the goal was to transform a compartmentalized layout into an open, cohesive living environment. By reconfiguring the entry, dining room, living room, and kitchen, the home now features a seamless open-concept design that enhances both natural light and everyday functionality. The once-separated spaces have been unified into a warm, inviting hub—perfect for gathering and entertaining.
One of the most impactful changes came from a bold structural decision: converting a former bedroom into a luxurious primary bathroom and transforming the original primary bath into a spacious walk-in closet. By creating a true en-suite experience with a private entrance from the primary bedroom, the home now offers both comfort and elevated livability.
Throughout the home, every detail was carefully curated—from new windows, doors, and a garage door to the addition of a rear screened-in porch that extends the living space outdoors. The kitchen was completely redesigned with improved flow and modern finishes, while the bathrooms were elevated into serene, spa-like retreats.
Beyond construction, our in-house interior design team furnished the entire home, creating a cohesive aesthetic that reflects the homeowner’s style. From furniture selection to final styling, every space was thoughtfully completed—culminating in a reveal moment that felt truly transformative.
Despite initial hesitation around such significant changes, the homeowner placed her trust in the process—and the outcome speaks for itself. This project is a testament to what’s possible when vision, expertise, and empathy come together to create not just a beautiful home, but a meaningful one.
