Selections from our Maitland showroom, structural changes, and installation live under one contract and one team — so a design decision that requires moving a wall becomes a drawing, not a renegotiation between two companies who've never met. Design studios can't build. Design-build remodelers rarely design at this level. We do both — with an in-house interior-design team and our own construction crews, run on the same six-phase process every KBF project follows.

The best interior-design idea in Central Florida dies in the same place: at the wall between the kitchen and everything else. When that wall carries the house, a design-only studio has to stop drawing and start making phone calls. We keep drawing — because the engineered beam, the posts that carry the load to the foundation, and the plumbing and electrical rerouted out of that wall are our everyday scope, priced and sequenced inside the same plan as the cabinetry.
That's why this page lives under the KBF master brand and not a standalone studio: when the design wants the wall gone, the whole-home team is already on the project.
Structural changes are always confirmed by field verification and, where required, a licensed structural engineer's design — we tell you what the wall needs before demolition, not after.

Do I have to hire a separate contractor, or can KBF design and build my project?
You don't need a separate contractor — that's the point of KBF. Interior design and construction live under one contract and one team, so the drawings, the selections, and the build never have to be renegotiated between companies. Design studios can't build; we can.
What does KBF's interior-design process include?
Five phases: Concept (spatial planning and design direction), Detailing/CAD (construction-ready drawings), 3D & Renderings (photoreal views you approve before build), Specifications (every finish, fixture, and material selected), and Furnishings & Installation (procurement, furniture, and the styled reveal).
Do you offer full-service interior design, or design-only?

Can you work with my existing floor plan — or can you actually move walls to open up the space?
Both. Many projects live entirely inside the existing plan. When the design wants a wall gone — including a load-bearing one — we engineer it: field verification, an engineered beam and posts sized for the load, and the plumbing and electrical inside that wall rerouted, all inside the same contract.
Do you have a showroom where I can see materials and finishes in person?
Yes — the KBF design showroom at 1295 South Orlando Avenue in Maitland. Cabinetry, stone, tile, and hardware selections happen there, in person, with your designer.
Will I see 3D renderings before any work begins?
Yes — phase 03 of every full-service engagement produces photoreal 3D renderings, so you approve the room before it's built rather than imagining it from a floor plan.
