Winter Springs Kitchen with Scullery
If a hidden entrance to a spacious scullery or butler’s pantry isn’t on your wish list, it should be! This kitchen was already stunning with its mix of rift-cut white oak and Sherwin Williams Iron Ore cabinetry, a quartz waterfall island, and a built-in wine bar. But the hidden scullery takes it to the next level, offering a sink, dishwasher, and an incredible amount of extra storage.
Wondering what sets a scullery apart from a butler’s pantry? A butler’s pantry is typically a small space for storing dishes and serving ware, while a scullery functions more like a mini kitchen for food prep and cleanup. It’s the perfect spot to keep the mess out of sight when entertaining. And to make it even better? The entrance is disguised as part of the kitchen cabinetry—seamlessly blending into the design with a gorgeous white oak door.
The remodel didn’t stop there. The dining room now features a custom-built wine bar in an unused nook beneath the staircase. Lighted shelving, a statement tile backsplash, a wine fridge, and ample storage transformed this once-forgotten space into a showpiece. And speaking of the staircase, the entire stairway got a fresh new look.
To tie it all together, we updated the flooring with massive 24″ x 36″ tiles in the kitchen and rich engineered wood in the dining room and stairway. The result? A sleek yet inviting space that blends function and style effortlessly.
