This Home’s Story

Our clients came to us with a wish to completely transform their home – it hadn’t been updated since it was built in the 60s! We were thrilled to bring their dream for their home to life, and we didn’t leave a square inch of this home untouched! We started by removing the wall that separated the kitchen from the living area which made an enormous difference in the light in the home. Their former dining room became an office, and their former den became their new dining room with a completely redone double-sided fireplace. The laundry room and powder bath just off the kitchen were reimagined into an airy and functional space – our clients say they now fight over who gets to do the laundry! A second hall bathroom was also totally redone, and all bedrooms received new paint, baseboards and the same gorgeous wood flooring that flows throughout the entire home. 

The master bedroom also received a huge upgrade – a completely new master bathroom! Their former master bathroom was small and combined with their closet, so we proposed turning that space into their closet only and creating an entirely new master bathroom out of a spare bedroom that was adjacent to the master bedroom. We walled off  the room’s former entry from the hallway and created a new entry from the master bedroom. The new bathroom includes a gorgeous soaking tub, striking double vanity, and spacious walk-in shower, for the ultimate master en-suite.
