KBF Design Gallery earned six awards in Orlando Magazine’s Home Design Awards, as announced in its January 2024 issue. The design-to-build firm took the top spot in four categories: Best Remodeling Company, Best General Contractor, Best Kitchen Design Showroom and Best Interior Design. They also earned the second place spot in the Cabinet Showroom category and took the third place spot in the Flooring Store category.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Orlando Magazine has held the award competition that recognizes the top home building, remodeling, and design industry professionals, and also the fourth year that KBF Design Gallery has been named the top Remodeling Company. This year’s competition also marks the third consecutive year that KBF topped the list of General Contractors and Kitchen Design Showrooms. “To receive this type of recognition year after year is very humbling and encouraging,” states Ashley Sheaffer, co-principal at KBF. Ashley’s brother and co-principal of KBF, Adam Vellequette, adds “There is such a large field of talent in Central Florida in every single category. Being named to the top of these lists – among such a talented group of colleagues – means so much.” Sheaffer and Vellequette attribute their firm’s success to its unique team approach to remodeling, which provides their clients with the talents of experts in every facet of the design-to-build process. “When you work with KBF, you are not working with one designer and one builder. In addition to the service- and design-related awards, KBF’s showroom has consistently been awarded for as one oft he best showrooms in Central Florida. Located at 1295 South Orlando Avenue in Maitland, Florida, the showroom is constantly updated to reflect the latest in innovative and timeless home design. The expansive showroom opened in 2020, and immediately became a destination for Central Floridians who are interested in remodeling any space in their home.
