Orlando Business Journal just published their Golden 100 list for 2023, and KBF’s principals, Ashley Sheaffer and Adam Vellequette, are thrilled to be on it! The list reveals Central Florida’s largest privately held companies based on their 2022 revenue. To qualify for the list, firms must be physically located in Orange, Osceola, Seminole or Lake counties, must be at least 51% privately-owned and operated, must not be subsidiaries of other companies, and the firm’s majority owners must be residents of one of the four previously listed counties.
Both Ashley and Adam reside in Winter Springs in Seminole county (and are both Winter Springs High School grads – go Bears!) with their respective families, and KBF Design Gallery is located in Maitland (in Orange county). KBF is 100% owned and operated by Ashley and Adam, who continue to grow the family business since their father and KBF’s founder, Keith Vellequette, retired in 2020. With KBF’s 20th Anniversary coming up in October, it’s a landmark year in so many ways. Being a part of this list is yet another facet of the exciting growth the firm is experiencing.
